When I eat out with a boy, I always go Dutch. The growing trend is continuing, so I realised that, if I want to be progressive If I want to be successful in the future, I need to learn Mandarin as soon as possible. I have won the won third prize in the Polish edition of 中国桥 (Chinese Bridge), the international contest of Chinese language and knowledge about China for foreigners, which inspired me to apply for a one-month scholarship in China this year. Mandarin is a language which demands a lot of patience, and I have had a lot of moments of doubts doubt, but I think I made the right decision. Certainly, I will I will certainly continue studying it at the university.

The desire to change my environment has driven me to a pushed me to fight with industrial pollution in my city which is of Krakow, one of the most polluted cities in Europe. The problem was, the majority of Cracow‘s Krakow’s dwellers didn’t protect themselves from smog, because they held the view that masks are not fashionable enough to wear. To solve this problem, under the slogan “Załóż Maskę”, which means “Wear The Mask”, my team and I had organised two photo sessions and a fashion show. It has been was an enormous success. Two huge Polish TV stations have interviewed us, and over 30 newspapers published articles about us. We have also observed a positive change in the number of people wearing masks also noticed that significantly more people started wearing masks. This project enabled me to develop my organisational skills; as well as it also proved being rewarding and fulfilling. Besides, it gave me an awareness of local initiatives’ importance for social life. In the process, I became more aware how important local initiatives are for social life Overall, I also experienced convinced myself that perseverance and enthusiasm is a are critical factors for change.
